Altered Book
I wanted to give my best friend a unique graduation gift that reflected our many memories together. I created this altered book that incorporated our own drawings, magazine cut outs, and images from the original book. These are selected pages from the book. (June 2010)

For an end of the year project in Pottery and Ceramics my instructor told us to create a piece using any of the techniques we had learned throughout the year. I chose to use slab technique and stippling to create this vase for my mom. (Spring 2010)

Over fall break of 2010 I wanted to experiment with watercolor. I had recently attended a watercolor exhibit in down town Raleigh and loved the paintings I had seen. This mood of the painting was inspired by the music I was listening to at the time.

Purely for pleasure I created this shoulder bag out of everyday materials such as brown paper bags, old t-shirts, and newspapers. This was created in fall of 2010.
